I plan on completing the compression test, running a leakdown and then pulling the timing cover. Just to know the exact issue(s). I did talk to the dealer. Not much help. He offered his rebuild services. Supposed to get back to me on exact cam size.

I will be pulling if necessary. If that's the case, I'll likely be doing some business with you Pat. It's gonna take some time though. The boat, as it sits in dry dock, is roughly 8ft high. I used a bobcat for the last motor replace, but the boat was on a rented trailer. I barely had enough height then. This time it sits higher(on blocks) and I may need something else to get the motor out.
