I am not sure what you mean by checking the housing bores of the block.
They bearings are made by King
Do you know which maker may make bearings on the thicker side?
The crank is ground 0.030 already, will going to 0.040 make the crank too weak?
My plans are for new pistons going from flat top to .210 dome for 9.6 DCR
