I agree Pat but here is where Im at. A set of 781 or 049 ovals reworked are gonna cost $900-1000 for all new parts and mild port work, larger vavles installed and all parts. A set of brodix RR ovals are about 2K and add another $250 if you want the CNC option. The Edelbrocks and GMPP aluminum heads are semi open chambers and I dont think they will work with the 2349 pistons, and are about $1800. So lets say I have a budget of $1500 for heads, are you suggesting a 20+ year old set of ovals reworked will be more efficient and more effective than these Patriot Aluminum heads for about the same price?
