like a few months ago the trans in my truck blew up.. so i went to the local junkyard and pulled one out of a, I think a 70s-80s el camino and to my luck it worked good in my truck even without changing the filter.... only thing is that it only has a 1st and 2nd gear but dosent seem to have a 3rd, it dosent slip and shifts real smooth and even when i get down on it, it shifts fine i was just wondering could it be the rearend in my truck cuse the body was a 6cyl manual dunno but it looks like a th350 and thought it was kinda strange... and was wondering if any of u could tell me whats up with it??
