I'm not sure the AOD needs an electrical circuit. I put one in a 68 Falcon, behind a 302 ( freakin screamed ) and all I needed for the swap was the kick down linkage ( also scrounged from the junkyard ).
Now, a chevy 700R-4 is a different matter. They DO have an electrical lock up torque converter..
Education is expensive. Keep that in mind, and you'll never be terribly upset when a project goes awry.
