    You'll have to remove it to be sure. Sometimes it will make a cracking sound if you pry on it from the bottom. The crack will be from one of the big holes to another, not visible when everything's together. It will come out if you put a few long bolts in the trans and slip it back an inch or so, and carefully reach up and get the flywheel bolts out.
    They do crack frequently for no real reason.
