Well, yea' once the "Z" is on the road ....... it'll have about a 2'' to 7'' rear seat area depending on the position of the front seats. ............And about 1'' or 2'' of headroom from the tubs to the rear window.

I have my roller pilot bearing, and the needles are offset towards one side of the bearing. Which side goes towards the engine, and which towards the trans? I can't find any info. on any pilot installation instructions.
Also, I read on some throw out instructions that the clips on the fork are supposed to go inside that gap on the bearing together with the fork, not the way I have it on my picture a few posts above.

im not sure what your talking about on the pilot bearing but id put the open end towards the engine and put some grease in it. put the fork clip in the gap, dont split it.

What I mean about the pilot is that, say the bearing is 1/2" long. Then the needles inside are only 3/8" long. So they don't extend the full length of the bearing. The first small section is no different than a bushing, until you reach the needles. Since it isn't symmetrical, I wasn't sure which end went which way.

most are bearing or bushing and you have both. id put the bushing to the motor.

ps- is the bearings part sealed or open? you know, if theyer open then they could go towards the motor and let the bushing help hold the grease in, if they are sealed id put the bushing first.

I'm not sure, but it's the bushing side that looks like it has a nice radius on the ID for easy insertion. I guessed that the bushing side went on the trans. side. I'll try and post a pic of it when I get home.
On a slightly different note, I got my tko 600 yesterday. The bearing retainer seems to measure around 4.68(rough estimate with some calipers) but my bell's center hole is way bigger.
I'm gonna have a sleeve pressed in at my dad's machine shop and bore it out to the correct diameter.
I found a spec sheet on the tko600 and it shows that retainer at 4.85, but there's no way I was that far off on my measurement.
Does anyone know what that dim. should be?
Also, does the bell have a clearance of .1 or something around that, or is it a tight interference fit of just a few thousanths?

    p. bearn sounds right. you wonta good fit on the retainer, but should slide in and out without force.
