The most desireable is a Chev 3.8 or 4.3 in the original rear location. You will see many w/directions on Virtual Vairs in the corvair corsa web site......DonDon Meyer, PhD-Mech Engr(48 GMC Trk/chopped/cab extended/caddy fins & a GM converted Rolls Royce Silver Shadow).
