I understand we're talking hobby here, and having fun where you can, but you've told us how tight money is, and you've made it clear that you're only going to be painting your engine, tranny, and bellhousing plus some small parts along the way. Does it really make sense to spend $160 on a gun, and then have to spend more $$$ to get your air supply OK with piping & filters, quick connects, and on, and on? Once that's all done you've now got to buy epoxy primer and single stage color, plus thinner, filters, and all of the associated "stuff" to do the job. I would be looking at rattle can colors to find something that I could live with. I'd bet that before you're done you'll invest $300 to $400 when you could get it done for $75 to $100. If you were doing a show car it would be different, but your path doesn't make sense to me, and with that I won't bother you further.Roger
Enjoy the little things in life, and you may look back one day and realize that they were really the BIG things.
