I figured 3 to 4 cans of epoxy primer and the same for the top coat. The VHT prices are from $10 to $13 per can.
So, I think I'll do it right and buy a gun.

After more research, I may try this company for the paint and maybe,.....their 3 gun kit. I don't need a expensive gun for painting the block, bell, tranny and small jobs around the house.
