Take it apart and clean all pieces and orifices is what I have done.

Very important to clean well. At the shop we had a cabinet with a pressure system that you hook into the gun, close the door and leave for two minutes and you're done. Perfectly clean, inside & out.

Well guys, my wife and I think I should just plumb a new air compressor system. I wish I would have just started one,... thread, as now I have a couple, but I did not know she would accept a higher cost project than suspected.

Should I just go all out here about a new entire system or start a new thread ?

My system will be very short as I only have a single stall garage,.... but want to do it right !
