I anticipated that the method of installation would be to insert the rubber seal, run a piece of small rope around the U, and then with the frame on a solid flat surface put the glass on top, apply a gentle downward pressure and have a second set of hands pulling the rope out to roll the seal over the glass. It'll be easier if the top comes off.
I hadn't even considered that actually... I was more familiar with my coupe windshield and how it "opens" to let the glass in/out. So I just assumed the roadster would do the same. But thanks for the other set of eyes!
