With blasting you need a big enough compressor to build up air fast enough to recover from the air that you are applying to the blaster. A 3/8 inch hose that is usually run to the blaster is not enough. You need more (umph) more air to go to the blaster and air to recover for the time you are using it.
I'm going to check with someone who might come out to my house and use Dry Ice to blast with. I use to blast for a living for 8 years. That was my job. It was usually on concrete for making designs on new buildings. To make a long story short, more air going to the blaster is what is needed for it to work, but more air causes more heat, so be careful like I'm going to do. Test something to make sure it's going to work for what you need.

i run an 1 1/4 hose from a 185 cfm comp. i have a 3/8 tip and only tun 35 lbs of pressure. the less media you get the better the job. if you have a pressure blaster you must have more pressure than the service hose or media wont come out. to much media and you choke the hose. high pressure will get you nowhere but out of media. warpage is not caused by heat but rather from stretching the metal with the anchor pattern . made worse by shooting at 90 degrees. turn it down , shut the media off then adjust to get just a little media.
35 coupe , you have just witnessed the reaction between epoxy and acid . the layer of epoxy next to the metal will not cure. which in turn causes less adhesion and sometimes bubbles. this is the very reason i did not invest in a soda setup instead of the rig i have. this isn't my opinion it is the facts. i spent a year researching before investing. i found acrylic will do the same job as soda , leave no residue , and i can recycle the media.

Most of the good operators down here use garnet,,a lot cleaner, does not rust, can be re used. I use it myself in little jobs on my own cars.I have seen the problems with soda blasting,as it seems to leach out of seams and joints for some time, and have known a few people who have had to strip their cars again a year or two down the track,as they have had problems with the paint job..Dont think I would go there..I still use the old fashioned paint stripper method..Micah 6:8
If we aren't supposed to have midnight snacks,,,WHY is there a light in the refrigerator???
