if a stick shifter i would move up to 5/8 you will bend 1/2 round EZIrish Diplomacy ..the ability to tell someone to go to Hell ,,So that they will look forward to to the trip

Pat- I was wondering if 1/2" would be good enough. I think it's half on there now except it looks like it may taper from 5/8 to 1/2. if I use 5/8 I don't think I'll be able to find a shift knob to fit so I'm a little stumped on that.

I won't really be slammin' gears, but I certainly would rather have it too strong than to bend, but I don't have a lathe to mill 5/8's smaller for a knob...who knows...I'll keep thinkin''35 Ford coupe- LT1/T56, '32 Ford pickup, 70 GTO convertible, 06 GTO
