If I were going to do this, I'd use an S10 front clip and adapt it to the Falcon unibody at the firewall. You will have to eliminate the shock towers and that would be the easiest and cheapest way to do it in my opinion.
Get up under a running S10 and lay an angle finder on the lower control arm. Record the angle. When you have your clip cut out of a donor truck, remove the springs and use allthread and nuts to establish the same angle on the lower control arm. Bolt the wheels and tires into place. Set the attitude of the body where you want it. Move the clip into place with the centerline of the spindle establishing your wheelbase front to rear. Use whatever materials you need to in order to graft the clip to the Falcon sheetmetal body. Adapt the brake master cylinder and booster from the S10. Use universal joints and DD shafting to adapt the Falcon steering column to the S10 steering box after you have the engine in place. The steering will wind its way through the headers.
Use a tubular transmission mount, bolted or welded into the Falcon sheetmetal.

Out back, shorten a 9" Ford housing, weld spring pads on to match the Falcon springs. Mount the housing and install Caltrac bars.
Lean on the many forums and publications that are available for swapping a V8 into a S10.

You'll need a flat and level working surface, otherwise everything will be skewed out of whack.
If you ever do get this done and running, you'll get tired of it someday and want to sell it. Be advised that the Chevy guys won't want it because the motor is in a Ford. Also be advised that the Ford guys won't want it because it has a damned Chevrolet motor in it.
