I owned a '60 Falcon that I put a SB Chevy in (my one and only trip to Chebbie land) but never totally finished - wedding bells, lack of $$ - now she, the car and a heluva lot of $$ are long gone

While it's been many years, the gist was that I cut out the shock towers, made up a cross member and stub frame, then bolted in a Ford I beam axle - Econoline. With those towers gone, I then had lots of room for headers - Hedman. My recollection was that I used a '56 differential(??), a B-W GM transmission - and a motley bunch of junk yard parts. I did run nice, but the handling never got straightened out (reason - see above)

A lot easier to go with the SB Ford
