thanks all....anybody on the thickness of the tubing .125 seems the norm but would 3/16's be over kill? , what welding rods would be best suited strenth wise? 6013, 7018 or ? being this a frame, I have welded a lot of stuff just not a frame and I want to do this myself and do it rightlike a volvo with gun racks.....
