I generally send mine out for Jet Hot coating - but in my case just do the aluminum color. Now that they have lots of colors, you can come real close on engine color. It's also very easy to keep clean with no raw unpolished aluminum to absorb gas and oil drools.

    old?

we are not getting old!,just smarter,a foot note,i block off my heat crossover ports when installing the intake,..
if not the heat going thru may excede 250 degrees at the port and discolor the coating a little at the very edge of the manifold, not many of us use these anyway!

i use to use ppg dp 90 on the intakes and paint every thing black and had that military look .i have used the ppg dau 75 clear that work ok. i like the flat to low gloss look i use to go out of my way to get the stock low valve covers to fit with a hi lift cam and roller rockers and paint them flat black so when the hood was open it did not look like any thing
