i use to use ppg dp 90 on the intakes and paint every thing black and had that military look .i have used the ppg dau 75 clear that work ok. i like the flat to low gloss look i use to go out of my way to get the stock low valve covers to fit with a hi lift cam and roller rockers and paint them flat black so when the hood was open it did not look like any thing
