Might help out a bit....note the part about the hub end of the axle. 28 spline have a rectangle shape in them. 31 spline a small hole in the center with 2 outer holes on each side. That should tell you spline count.

Cant seem to find a 9 with a WFF , must be alot newer then anyone has documented yet .
