Started my gas tank today, the metal brake I bought was a P.O.S. so I got a little creative with a big piece of angle iron, some flat bar and a big hammer!! I bent the center main section out of one big piece to cut down on welding and then added one of the end caps. I got it tacked together with the Mig but I want to practice with my Tig and then seal it all up. I figure I'll cut out the holes for the filler neck and sending unit then clean it out really good before I cap the other end. I'll probably seal it with the gas tank sealer from Caswell Plating, it's worked well for me in the past on chopper tanks. Not as nice as 41 Willy's, this is the amature build!!
