Got a little more done today. I got the body mounts bolted on, 6 all together, I figure that should be enough (4) of them are 5/8" bolts and (2) 3/8" at the rear. I added in another frame cross brace and then mounted a couple triangulated braces just behind the tranny, hopefully that will be stiff enough.
Then I made a couple of seats that I'm gonna try to convince a friend to cover like my chopper seat he did for me. Put in two rails and just screwed them in with self drives for now. I think I might want to mount them on sliders but I have to see if I can find some.
Got going on the floor and the start of the driveshaft tunnel, found that very time consuming and I want to try to get my Tig welder going for the rest of it. I want to get some practice in before I go and try to make a fuel tank.
As well I got my steering column mounted.
Now some questions. I have to mount my gas pedal and a park brake some where, is there anything else you guys can think of that I might be missing before I start to fill in the floor. Also when you mount the floor do you weld the whole thing in or do you bolt it down. I'll have to make an access door for my master cylinder and a battery box I'm thinking behind the passenger seat. Any help appreciated.
Thanks,
