New Finned Valve Covers HELP!
I need some help. I just recently purchased a set of vintage finned cast aluminum Edelbrock Valve Covers. I paid a little more than what I planned on spending, but they were something I always wanted. Great shape, recently media blasted.
On my current set up, (SBC) I'm running a push in breather on one side and a PCV valve on the other. The new Edelbrock covers have 1 slotted hole that accepts the twist on oil filler cap or I'm assuming; twist on breather. There is a baffle plate under each hole.
My question, can I use a twist on breather for the passenger side and a twist on oil cap on the other? There is a blank where I can drill a hole for the pcv valve. Or is it possible to buy a twist in pcv valve unit instead of the oil cap? Is this something I can fab if it's not available?
You're help is greatly appreciated.
Pat
