    yes i had it on steel i use a gas lens that may help and like said get it clean the filler rod i use 70s-2 on steel. ex tube i like ss 347 filler rod . you may be getting gas out i can weld with every thing the same filler rod heat flow and put down great welds and go out the next weld and have it happen this happen more to me on tubing if i use 347 rod it just will not happen i use argon i have not use any mix gas for tig welding.
