the box is like an inch and a half away from the header. The headers have big tubes, Hooker Super Comps I think, and the plug points right into a the number 6 tube. I can work a socket down there but it won't even fit onto the plug all the way because it hits that #6 tube. I will try underneath, but don't think that will work either. I'm not planning on running the AC anyway and was going to get that block off plate that allows you to keep you fan motor and heat.
