Thanks guys - I guess I have no choice but to do it this way, I will let you know what happens as I plan to work on it Saturday. Kind of amusing I had planned to take the vette on a long cruise, but after the issues I put her away and took out my '23 T which ran like a champ (she is all stock, coils and all 20hp)..maybe the Ford guys know something!
