I don't like loud exhaust by any means, but I do like to hear a lttle of the cam. It seems to me that the "H" pipe would even out the exhaust, but also mellow out the effects of the cam as far as sound.
I am having a difficult time finding a good place to place an "H" pipe in this system because of the routing.
