Thanks Bob. I mis-read Steve's post, or mis-interpreted it and did not understand that it was entered into the show that's coming up. That's a great way to set a deadline on getting it done!

I'd consider a good silicone caulk. It will hold enough to stop resonation, but has enough flex to let the exterior expand and contract with the weather.
