I had a little extra time this last week end to work on my sedan. My plan was to have the guy that does the finish work and paint to come over and do the final body work (fix any of my screw ups) and get the sedan primed from the belt line up. So he comes over and tells me the roof isn't rigid enough, it needs more bracing. I didn't tell him that I stood on it the other day to put a box away He has saved me many times before so I listen to him. I added more bracing and glued everything together. I'll see what he thinks Sat.

Ken that roof is so well supported he must be crazy! If you could stand on it, it's strong enough!

Yes, that is correct. Its called Bond and seal. The German company Wurth manufactures it. It has a freezing to -40 degrees and hi temp to 194 degrees with a max heat range of 250 degrees for up to 8 hours.

I know, he is a fanatic. He really doesn't like working on top of someone's work. So he wants the last say before he starts on it. Everything is a reflection of his work, so I understand and do what he asks. He is really good at what he does.

Thanks Don, I finally got all the brackets tacked on the new rear end. Now I will pull it out and weld it all up and stick it back in. I'm going to detail it while it's out and paint the axle tubes. Then I can put the brakes on it and it will be ready for the test ride some day

Wow! That is a thing of beauty! I wonder if Ken would entertain a free apprentice for an indeterminate period of time? I think that I could learn soooo much just being a quiet mouse in the corner, or being the shop gofer/live clamp to hold things in position while the master works! The chassis looks wonderful!

Heck it is going to be a shame to put the body over that beautiful frame. I appreciate you posting for us Bob as Ken is the one of two that I miss the most due to his outstanding workmanship. That is going to be a top notch car when finished and if I remember correctly, the car was so he and Tina could take friends out in it so it will get used out on the street.
I maybe a little crazy but it stops me going insane.
