Thanks.
I doubt it.
At the rate I build I will be lucky to have it on the road in another year.
Actualy I started building this thing for my grdkids.
The oldest wont be 16 for another 7 years so hopefully I will get to drive it a couple years before he/they gets it but the rule is it stays at my house and each one can borrow it when they like.

I wish I could say I thought of this but I didnt and cant take credit for it.
I ran across this idea somewhere on another site and thought this is great, a big money saver so I knew I was going to make a roadster from my cab so why not use the window frames for a grille shell.
Glad you liked it.

Hi Larry,
We built the roadster 14 years ago. I do have some pictures. I'll PM you. Your pictures looked some much like ours. I like your windshield, too.
Thanks,
Marcia

HEY, quit fixing the rust holes. It's a rat rod! Next thing you know you'll have paint, upholstery, carpet. AC, and a stereo!

We cut the windsheild off before it started to curve. We sit low so all but the heaviest rain goes over our head. Just don't linger too long at stop signs.

The last one. We have a 46 Dodge cab and a ranger frame we plan to put it on. I guess great minds think alike!

Thanks for the pic's Marica. I too started out with a ranger frame but decided against it. The more I looked at it the more I didnt like the frontend twin I-beams. I wanted a straight axle front supension so I build my own frame.
Like the moon eyes
Started rebuilding the dash last night. Mine is so rusted right where the column is to mount that I decided to cut it all out and start over with a flat style dash and put in a 5 gauge panel(in the future).
Also extented my brake petal 5 inches. Also a ranger brake.
. I liked the look of the smaller footpad. Will build some kind of mounting system for it today after I get back from the grdson's football game.

I know Larry, I feel the same, I'd love to come down there and meet you in person and trade stories, but same reasons. Money and time. Although I do have lots of time until next June likely. You know I'm joshing, I hope. Love to rattle cages, huh? You're doing a great job friend. Keep it up. PerleyToo old to work, Too poor to quit.
