7.4 L valve spring bearing Shims

    Hi Gang,
OK I misplaced , lost 4 of the steel shims that live under the valve spring bearings in the head of a 7.4L Marine fuel injected engine.

Any body happen to have 4 they want to sell.
    steel shims .018 thick 1 1/2" OD and a 11/16" hole
3 weeks for the dealer and I just need the shims
I'm not sure when they started using the valve spring bearing set up but I like it
    thanks
    Hank

i have many and GM did put a .015 shim under all valve springs stock on bbc less the heads had valve rotators sounds like yours do not . if some run time is on the springs then a 030 shim may get springs back up to new spec. any one like compcam. competition products . goodson. sliver seal. engine pro . Vsi . isky .many others have them as well . i buy from all of them yes i have many of what your looking for but what part of the world are you at ?

    Hi Pat,
I did find the shims so thanks
on the valves there is a bearing under the springs
we live in British Columbia mid way up the coast many miles from "bright lights"

Now I'm finding out that the head gaskets we got and the gaskets that were on it do not have the right cut outs for the coolant . Now I'm waiting for the corrects gaskets
    thanks
    Hank
