The ones that came with it are real thick,but they are welded to old cross member. I did find thick stuff but a 5/8 bolt is not snug in the hole. Maybe I can just drill some bar stock.

The .120 wall DOM works fine, just gusset it to the crossmember. I also use the DOM tubing, cut to length, on the inside of the crossmember. Never have had one break, and I sure do abuse them!!!! As with anything structural, proper gusseting is as important as the size of the material used...
