I don't think it will matter because I am sure I will have to narrow it to fit my 48 thames panel.
 Thanks.Last edited by 48thames; 07-13-2009 at 01:50 AM.

 Thanks
I bought what I think is a later cross member, only 2 mounting holes for the rack and now I am looking for the spacers that alow me to use my tubular lower a arms.

Just use some thick wall tubing with a 1/2" or 5/8" center hole, depending on which size crossbolt your lowers use and cut it to length.Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Live for Today!

Thanks for the reply. It's 5/8, but the only DOM tube I can find isn't more then what I think is about 120 wall thick. The ones that came with it are real thick, but they are welded to old cross member. I did find thick stuff but a 5/8 bolt is not snug in the hole. Maybe I can just drill some bar stock.

The .120 wall DOM works fine, just gusset it to the crossmember. I also use the DOM tubing, cut to length, on the inside of the crossmember. Never have had one break, and I sure do abuse them!!!! As with anything structural, proper gusseting is as important as the size of the material used...Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Live for Today!
