Your 63 is a fairly desirable car and even though most of us have said that we will keep a car forever, it seldom happens and the cars eventually trade hands.

Generally speaking the cars that are worth the most are the one that are either original or can easily be restored back to that condition. Having the original parts and accessories available to restore the car are a big plus and can make a huge difference in the amount the car is worth or even wether it sells or not.

From personal experience used AC units are generally not really worth very much. This is especially true of the pre-64 fords as dealer/factory air was a hang under the dash unit. I personally know of 3 63/64 full size fords sitting in a local wrecking yard that I can buy the complete system from for $50-100. (I just bought the dealer installed evaporator assembly for a Mustang off $39 dollars off E Bay) As Matt indicated the real value of yours may be in keeping it with the car that it came from, even if it's in a box setting under the bench.

Just food for thought.
