With all the troubles I've had painting lately, I'm probably the last one who should comment, but . . .
I use Sherwin Williams products, but my local S-W dealer suggested I use Transtar primers and sealers. The formulation is virtually identical to S-W products, and it's less expensive. I used polyester primer (6551-G) on a glass body, followed by a white sealer (6221) but they have epoxy primers also.
