    Thanks fellas... there were some products mentioned here that I havn't heard of. The 3M glaze I tried was that perfect-it III hand glaze I believe. It was extremely hot the day i did it, i was in the shade but it seemed to almost harden as was tough as nails to get back off. The Mother's polish I use I apply with a applicator pad and buff off with microfiber towels. The car was just painted a few months ago b/c c/c. I've been told to steer clear of waxes on black period.

    here is what I'm working with, looks good in most light but bright direct sunlight shows the smears.... there are very very fine spiderweb swirls but they are almost un noticeable to the untrained eye, not worried about them at all.
