Thanks for the birthday wishes guys. I have just about finished watching my birthday DVD's now. I love Film. And I like getting DVD's as presents so I'm pretty easy to please at times like this. I like pretty much all types of movies. But I'm very fond of old Sci Fi stuff. I got about 12 DVD's on my birthday. But my faves are two remastered Sci Fi disks. The "Forbidden Planet" and the original version of "The day the earth stood still" to replace my old VCR's of these movies. And I found myself a DVD of the old classic "This Island Earth" to top off my birthday DVD's Some may think thats sad, but I just love the rich colours and clarity of these old films from way back when. I'm also a fan of Ray Harryhousen special effects so you can guess what other films I cherish in my collection.

So Back to the update on the MGB. The Zoomies are now made and I test fired today. The header plates are still in stock form and need hogging out to port match my cylinder heads which I will do next week. They need about 3mm / 1/8th inch trimming off all 4 sides to be big enough for my heads. But they sound ok. I'll be fitting lambda and EGT bungs on them next week as well. Then I need to move some pipes and wires for better clearance and then I can wrap them in heat tape up to the under side of the hood and polish the tops of the pipes. The primary pipes are 1 3/4" and are just 16" long. I think thats about the least resistive exhaust system I can fit on the MGB.
