Some time back in my "Dad and son projects" posting I mentioned that I had some stuff provided by Chrysler entitled "Slant Six Performance Tips". There is good information in there for anybody who is interested in getting more power out of these engines.

If you decide to make your own headers it will tell you what you need to know in the way of tube sizes, tube lengths, etc. as well as some very inexpensive modifications you can make, such as how much you can mill the head and how to adapt a two barrel carburetor to your stock intake.

These are tough little engines. I have use several of them in cars and trucks, and even one in a houseboat.
