Got the mini tubs done on the 69 as well as prep, paint and install......and adjust many times..... a urethane bumper. That was interesting. Takes a lot to get a good fit. Anyway, a rare moment. I actually took some pictures and think. Got the upside down picture thing solved.

Very nice Camaro! I figured out why you don't see any sitting in the weeds anymore.............. Everyone already has them.
I'd really like to find one some day, 67-73 Camaro, or a 67-9 Firebird.

Sorry guys. I've been on Norfork river trout fishing. No wifi there. Man it is too warm for that type of activity. Lol.
I got the major bugs worked out of the 69 so i have been enjoying daily drives to work every chance i get. I'll be driving it making updates as I go and once I feel I have everything the way i want it..... I'll strip it down and give a proper paint job. Same color. We scanned and determined Hot Red (Nissan color) closely matches.
I really like the color coordinated urethane bumper. This is an X44 base code car that someone emulated a SS out of. Im leaning more toward the Z28 theme with the grill in silver instead of black. Also going to integrate a Grand Sport stripe from last years Corvette over the fenders since much the car will be Covette inspired.
Oh...I like the Firebirds too. In fact....I really wanted a 69 Trans AM. Good luck finding one. Lols. The only thing I didn't care for on the Firebirds was all the faux wood treatment inside. Otherwise nice cars.

Been doing some work on the Cutlass..... Evidently when the back half of the car was done, the quarters weren't braced when the floor was cut out. The bottom of the quarters are pulled in about 1 1/2" on each side. Didn't want to cut the back end apart again, so did some narrowing and reshaping on the bumper ends.Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Live for Today!

Finally got the rear wheels and decided to pull the 12 bolt yesterday to check clearances in mini tubs. Plenty of room to spare with 13"s of tire.
The 6" back space should keep the rotors/calipers/hubs outof harms way.
Next up...call to Moser for a full float rear. 55"s hub to hub. Then time for me to put my thinking cap on for the torque arm.
Does anyone know of a place besides Spohn and Ballistic Fabrication that sells Johnny joints? Spohns seem a little to small and cheesy although Im sure their fine. And Ballistics are huge. I used them on the links in Dustin's Camino. They cater more to the offload guys.image.jpgimage.jpgDo not lift a rock only to drop it on your own foot
