Got some color on last night. Started spraying the color about 5pm and finished the clear at 2am. I don't have enough lighting in my shop to get a nice flow on the clear but after some polishing it will be okay. I love the color but I am not sure if it is the right color for this car. Won't know until I get it together and roll it outside I think. It is nice to have that part behind me though.

I'm not a big fan of red, but that shade sure looks pretty. That ought to be killer in the sun.

I was going to paint it two tone with an orange metallic on top and off white on the bottom but then I seen this color on a 2009 charger and figured since I am running a Hemi it would be a good fit. When I get the black running boards and grill on it should look a little better. The pics of course don't really show the true color.

I am not sure I have heard of a redaholic before. Is there a 12 step program for that?

Yeah I suppose it is a harmless addiction.

Thanks 406Rich. I am actually liking it more and more. Having all the pearl in it definitely makes it a unique red. I think I like it more when the light isn't shining on it then when it is but knowing me that may change as well.

I think the color is looking pretty sweet!! Are you saying the grill is going to be black?? I would do the grill the same color as the rest of the car unless it is chrome. Nice work!!

I took therapy for years to break myself of that red addiction. I faltered when I painted my car, but was able to get an emergency treatment.

Great color - now the real fun is coming cut 'n' buff

Well you faltered in a good way I would say. I like the color you chose for your car.

I don't know if I would call cut and buff fun.
