Thanks guys!!! I've decided that I really do like the two tone look...Where the color splits from the fenders to the body the change is very subtle. I can't take the credit for the color selection, the owner and his girlfriend picked the paint.

Didn't get much done lately, end of the year taxes, buying and selling some stuff, and doing a few guesstimates (I don't do quotes) on a couple other builds, and messing with some of the '57 pieces. Should have the front end all buffed out soon and will put up some pics then. All in all, coming out decent. Gonna be a real classy looking cruizer when it's all done.

I have been thinking about this bumper for a while so today I started cutting up my '35 brackets to figure out how to pull it in and get the bracket and bumper holes to line up. The blade on my saw got torn up so I had to move on to something else, but I think it will work out pretty good.

That looks good, 35. Those tail lights are pretty killer, too. Same for everyone else; Dave, Mr Smith, great progress!

After many health problems I am finally able to get back to my 48
GMC project. With the help of several friends I drove it for the first
time Sunday. Here is a picture.......Don

Hey Don, was just wondering the other day why we hadn't seen you in a loooonnnnggg time, sorry to hear you've been ill. Glad you're back on your feet to whatever degree you are. The truck looks like it turned out pretty nice...........more pictures, especially a side view please. Glad you're back here.

Finally got a little color on my dash tonight. A little more high build primer on a few spots and I should be good to paint the rest.

Thanks, That is exactly what the other holes are for. I didn't get the res of the car painted like I had hoped but at least I got it all ready for next weekend to paint.

Got some color on last night. Started spraying the color about 5pm and finished the clear at 2am. I don't have enough lighting in my shop to get a nice flow on the clear but after some polishing it will be okay. I love the color but I am not sure if it is the right color for this car. Won't know until I get it together and roll it outside I think. It is nice to have that part behind me though.
