Got the lights on the other side mounted today. I made some braces to go around the perimeter of the grill opening and will hopefully get the grill made this week. Also started putting some angle braces on the hood mating surface; just drilled some holes and plug welded them in. I got these parking lights from a big rig place; they're Kenworth marker lights. I had all the inner panels sandblasted a while back and decided to just take some Rustoleum industrial enamel to paint the back side of them so they wont rust. the side that will show is going to get painted white like the rest of the truck. Here's my son and his "friend who is a girl but not his girlfriend" helping me out. She's got it bad for him but he's not seeing it.

Thanks Wiz; i owe it all to watching Dave's work for the last few years. If I can learn to fabricate half as good as him I'll be satisfied.

Oh man, don't say that stuff, gonna make me blush.... I gotta fab everything cuz I'm too dang broke to buy the parts!!!!

Anyway, here's some real low quality shots of the Dynacorn parts.... The roof and quarters on the '67 'maro and the floors, structure sides, quarter panels on the Chevelle. Oh yeah, then a shot of the lately neglected Plymouth... No updates on my own stuff, haven't touched it in a couple months.....

The Dynacorn stuff seems to be above average quality, still imported pieces by not too badly done. The quarters and roof went on the '67 (a real RS 4 speed small block car) with minimal trimming and adjustments.... I'm still in the process of fixturing the new floors and side structures for the Chevelle, but so far they also seem to be above average... Just some minor tweaking and presto, brand new Chevelle!!! The roof, roof supports, filler panels and firewall should show up on the truck next week sometime, I hope!!!!

and a couple more while I'm at it.

The big block is a stock old 454 going in the '69 'maro we're building for a guy til he can afford his new 572 crate engine. The rust monster Chevelle belongs to the dude we're building the new one for....looks like we'll be able to use the trunk lid and hinges, glass, a few trim pieces, and absolutely none of the sheetmetal off the car...

Then of course, another shot of my ever vigilant, always ready to attack watch dog, Pepper, hard at work!

The twin lights turned out just like I thought they would falcon, have you decided on what the grill is going to look like yet?

Dave you haven't changed, you still have 4 projects going at once! Wouldn't have it any other way would you?

There wasn`t any offense, I just posted the pic in Bob`s thread to show my shocks of a past project, didn`t want to put anymore in there to hijack his thread...that was some bright red paint though.

It dont take much to be cuter than me, Dave! I was looking at your projects; great stuff. The guy with the Chevelle must really want a Chevelle BAD. That a serious restoration project with those quarter panels, but if anyone can save it, I'm sure you can swing it.

Brick, I think I'm just going to use 3/4" square tubing for the grille; should have it done by the end of the week.
