Yes it is Dave but we're right on track, old engine is out. Frame has been detailed and the new engine is going in. Next fabricating the mounts for the new aluminum radiator and install it. Upward and onward!!!:D I'm having a ball I have to say.

"Any ideas for wheels?????"
Slotted Corvette Rallys painted body color with caps and rings. :)
Very nice pickup, Damien. Sounds like you don't even leave yourself time to get in trouble!!! Congrats on your project, looks great.
whats wrong with those wheels? they might be the only 2 sets made. when they came out in the 80's i thought they were the best looking wheel i had ever seen, i think i was about the only one though. i still like them on that 70 chevy, and they are not bad on that truck. to ea. his own. :HMMM: :cool:Quote:

Thanks Mike. Yes, I plan on keeping them. They may be out of style for some, but I like the trucky look of them. The fronts are even 6 lug. I had to wait to get them. I ordered and paid for the wheels, and then the guy says, hey, I'm still looking for the fronts you wanted. I told him to try hard, cause if I can't get the 6 lug fronts, he can keep the rears also. Not in a bad way, I just wanted a matching set.
He found 2 sitting on a shelf in Pittsburg.
i think i has a few sets of daves and dennies laying around on the shelf when the store burned down in 95. how did ya'll get out? :LOL:Quote:

Glad you had wings, Denny.... That fall off the top shelf really HURT.....With all the flames and stuff, didn't notice till I got out....
this is what you call having a bad day, when everything you have goes up in smoke, because of a gas tank and a drop light.
that's a bad blow Lt1, I hope you had good insurance. I feel for ya man.
My engine is back in and hooked up mostly except for getting a chrome altenator for it.
Don't know about Paint yet, I have to put door handles and stuff in so we'll see.
