I took nearly 100 pics today (Friday) and my dawgs-r-tired.....
To post event photos in the gallery......do I have to send the pics to someone, or do I just create a directory there and upload them? Are there image size guidelines that I have to adhere to? If so, I'll need to shrink down a whole bunch of pics by the time this weekend is over....
I'll put a couple of 'unique' teaser pics here for tonight.....
First one......

How about a dual-coffin, big motored, whatchamacallit.......
Note the skull headlights, the web in front of the radiator......and the vehicle appraiser taking notes....... my concern would be the 'insurance' guy.......

Known as "The Defibrillator"......Chrysler powered work of art....
I saw one of the owners setting in the car, her head was indeed, sticking up through the opening in the roof..... this thing would make "Rat Fink" proud.....

Thanks Dave, next will be finish wiring in the dash and detailing it. Then get the new windshield put in, my painting buddy says that the dash will get scratched by the window guys so I am waiting. Once installed, I will paint the dash. I also may have a little adjusting to do on my shift linkage, stuff like that."Sunshine, a street rod and a winding beautiful Ozarks road is truely Bliss!"

I'll say, and great work at the show to Oldschool! I'm from Yakima and I know that is rod country up there.

Last weekend we were all hangin' out and one of the members noticed smoke inside a 49 Buick down the way. After a scramble and a rescue they discovered the solenoid had shorted out and almost burned down the guys rod. Have any of you had any experiance with door solenoids? I am a little concerned about thier safety."Sunshine, a street rod and a winding beautiful Ozarks road is truely Bliss!"

its just a matter of having "hot all the time" wires runing all over the car, in the doors and around the window cranks, so its nessary to get the wires up and out of the way. do the wiring right you shouldnt have a problem. if you use remote control then its not as bad. using a toe button it would have to be hot all the time, remote control it would only work when you clicked the clicker.

Thanks HotRod59 and Brickman....I spent a couple of late nights out in the shop just before the show....
I think my total pic tally for all three days ended up being 288. I sent an e-mail to one of the admins re: creating a folder or something in the galleries so I can get them uploaded....I'd hate to post them in a personal gallery one or two at a time....
I'm itchin' to get them posted without hijacking a thread....
Haven't had any experience with the solenoids....all my windows are manual crank.... Glad someone caught the problem when they did....

Very good point lt1s10, I am going to look alot harder at having a remote control system. I'm not againest them, just was wanting to keep things as simple as I could. If I would have been thinking I would have done them alot different, put the latch in the body instead of the door and I could have put a manual toe button in, no electricity needed."Sunshine, a street rod and a winding beautiful Ozarks road is truely Bliss!"

Well,
I am new to CHR and hot rods. We just started on our 84 Camaro last week, got the tank out and going to pull the axle Friday and driving to Philly on Saturday to pick up the 305 and trans ( the 2.8 v6 and trans in the Camaro now is going to go in the T-bucket when we start on it).
