Pro I can't believe the quality of your work, your killing me!! Your car is Kicking ass, even though you think it's coming together slowly, it's coming along very nicely. Hang in there bud.

Got to watch out for those darn nails. I had a similar incident. Really it wasnt my fault....it was the nails fault! I was trying to nail blandex to the ceiling in my garage when I was building my house. Two taps to set the nail, and swing. Nail comes straight back into my eye. It lacerated and lifted the retina...all I saw was instant white light in that eye. Now I'm scared of nails. Now I always wear eye protection.

Kinda puts a different twist on the term "fingernail" doesn't it?

    It wasn't my fault......
I was in the process of nailing the outside plates for a cabin where two ends butt up against each other (twisted and not touching) and I pulled them together, thought I'd put a nail in to keep them lined up, my left hand pulling the bent one in place, when I thought....... this is TOO dangerous, so I pulled back and the nailer malfuntioned and shot me anyway........ guess I should have done the dangerous thing and shot the boards instead of my fingers
Picture shows the corner of the boards right before I (red hat) went around to the other side and shot myself. Nice rusty nail
The nail went through two fingers and hit the third hard enough to make me loose that fingernail.

    O-U-ch. That had to hurt.

I thought I'd push the "Z" outside since it's a fairly decent day to give the shop a quick clean-up. I couldn't leave it out there without takin' a few pics.

The coupe looks nice, great work. Another question about the area just below the left quarter window opening that was just about totally destroyed, how did you fix that up? Got a picture of that area? Attached picture shows the area.

    Tom
The area below the window is all better Tom. Took some heavy duty pingin' and dingin', and even a custom built T rear side window de-denting tool!!!! Also, got the splash apron straightened out and welded up.... Now all I have to do is try to make the other side match!!!!! Also got a couple more pieces built for the new front sheet metal on the 'maro. Hope to have them both in primer soon!!!!!!
