The engine and trans are bolted in again. I've never seen a poly mount broken down like this. There was a powdery/silica sand type substance coming out of it. It's never been soaked in any liquid/chemicals, or set out in the sun. Hopefully the replacement lasts longer especially it was $15 more.
The last time I had the engine mocked up I had the Fitech on it. I will not be using the Fitech and will be using the Holley 390s. I have to put spacers under the carbs so the fuel bowl on the rear carb doesn't hit the distributor.
I decided I'm going to try and get bare minimum one thing done on this car per day as well. Today I am going to clean and paint the water pump pulley as well as polish the water pump so I can install it. Then the crank pulley and I can put a power steering pump so I can work that out.Ryan
