Thanks Steve, That is the R&D room at work. I just steel some room for my own stuff
This thing is trying to move around also. I just have to go so slow. Once I get it welded up and get it into the frame fixture things should speed up, I hope. Although it probably won't with the way I'm going to do all the cross members and all the stuff that goes into the frame rails. I'm not complaining, I actually enjoy building the chassis the most.
    Thanks again,
    Ken

Ken not sure if you can do this or not but i machined up a piece of hardwood to mimic the inside of the box in the tapered section, Then clamped the sides and top to it, I knocked it out after.

Creative minds alright...Between my day to day repairs, etc,I am redesigning the bits and pieces that were never done when the 32/5w molds were made...making the faces around the rear side windows that the glass butts up against,,the interior drip tray in the trunk area,,a new floor mold,etc..And now I am about to start designing the interior steel framework that we have to have inside our glass bodies,,including a glassed in bulkhead between the trunk area and the inside area..We have to have a minimum of 38x38x3mm B pillar section, with 25x25x3mm above the doors, hoop at the firewall etc,in fact, not to far away from Wescotts structure..So I will be building a complete frame work, and then have to make jigs for future bodies,as they are sold,OR make a bunch of frames in advance,to fit as I sell the bodies..Then I can do likewise with the 33/3w body.. Sucker for punishment ya think???
    BUT...you guys still rock...
Oops, sorry Ken,,didnt mean to nobble your thread,,it should be on another thread I guess...

Thanks you guys, anyone who builds these things has to have talent. It's so much work, but the rewards are great, taking that first ride. The diversity of the builds on this site is amazing, there is a lot to be learned here.

lamin8r - No problem, it's interesting what you are doing, now that's a lot of work! You have to have some pretty good fixtures for that
