With rust in the trunk, have him check the area around the leaf spring mounts in the rear, and the spring towers in the front. All the parts can be replaced, but it might be more work then he would want to take on! $2k isn't a bad price for a coupe, heck anymore the title and vin plate for an early Horse brings $1K!!!!!
