your right drg- come to think about my 66 it had a problem with the rt front rail under the front door. it builds up with crap inside and rusts the bottom of the fame out. i had to cut out about 3 feet of the lower part of the rail and sleeved a piece of steel up into the frame and welded the bottom and plug welded the sides. it worked good and actually looked pretty good. the left side was perfect go figure
