I seem to have turned into a Luddite, or so I am sometimes told. My memories date back to the mid forties, and from the mid fifties on, I followed every advancement in vehicle electronic entertainment with avid zeal - until about ten years ago, then I just quit, period. I removed the radio antenna from my truck, so the radio doesn't pick up much of anything, and I never turn it on anyway. I removed my CB, GMRS, and two meter sets, and seldom even think about them any longer; dunno why, it's just what it is. Never had a need for GPS, although it is a fascinating device, a map or two, if I can find them, serves me well, otherwise, I just sort of "find" my way naturally. I might be going bats.????

I'm the same way. I've traveled across the country meeting folks and buying parts etc. etc... It wasn't 'til the wifes car (escape) came with GPS and we discovered a new way to travel to new places. Who Knew???
